TOGETHER will focus on the mechanisms for the optimal orchestration of Digital Twins (DTs) at the edge, ranging from the design of comprehensive models representing the DTs’ behavior, attributes, data and services, to the strategies for their composition, based on social awareness, and optimal placement, based on artificial intelligence (AI) techniques. Moreover, the project will investigate new Information Centric Networking (ICN) naming schemes, forwarding strategies and optimal caching policies to efficiently support the data exchange and service provisioning originated by DTs.
